Living Waters

Living Waters is one of the best kept secrets in the Smokies!  A short drive to Gatlinburg and many of the favorite attractions, Living Waters is a family-sized log cabin alongside Cosby Creek, a blue ribbon trout stream.  Cosby Creek is its own playground for kids and adults – fishing, tubing, skipping rocks – it’s all right out the back door of Living Waters!

Guests will also enjoy the privacy of Living Waters – it rests on 1 acre on a private road, with very little other tourist activity.  Living Waters is a new cabin, and is appointed with beautiful hardwood floors and high-end furnishings and amenities throughout.

Enjoy watching the kids play in the Creek for hours on end, or if it's a rainy day, enjoy a game of pool upstairs, or your favorite movie or sporting event on our flat-screen HDTV. A fully-equipped kitchen provides everything you will need for that special meal. Or if you prefer to grill out, we provide a gas grill for your use.

It's all here at Living Waters - We look forward to your stay!

Nice lil get away

We came to Living Waters to enjoy a weekend away with our son when he returned from a nine month deployment to Afghanistan. We found the cabin easily with the provided directions/map. It is on one of the side dirt roads, which we enjoyed that aspect. The cabin appears non-impressive from the outside, however is quite beautiful inside. There is wide front porch with porch swing (a little slick when wet, our foster son fell and skinned his elbows pretty good), a small but adequate kitchen/dining combo, closet off the dining rooms with a stackable washer/dryer, average open concept living room (with a beautiful carved mantel) two master suites(one had walk in shower, walk in closet, and jacuzzi tub, while the other had a tub/shower combo and regular closet) (with adjoining screened in sun rooms to both), tiered deck with hot tub over looking larger creek (there had been lots of rain so not sure if it's always that large or not but it was nice!), and a loft overlooking the kitchen/dining/living room. The loft had a pool table on one side and a full/queen bed and half bath on the other side. Biggest complaint (not really a complaint at all just would have been nice) is there was really no privacy to the bed upstairs, and there was no seating near the pool table, VERY LITTLE has in the fireplace (went out within an hour), and it's quite a drive into the more touristy areas. There was also a guest book in the downstairs that had some instructions/requests- haul off your own trash, location of dumpsters, NO alcohol, etc. In summary, the property was beautiful and spacious, we would visit again and recommend the property to others!!

Living Waters Luxury

We absolutely loved the cabin. We had a family reunion in Gatlinburg but preferred to stay out of town and away from the traffic and congestion. It is exactly as it appears in the photos, bigger than we expected actually. We had 8 people and no one got under foot. We had a six year old and a toddler that thought the whole idea of the cabin was quite the adventure. They tried to fish which was hilarious (we didn't actually see any fish). The walk in closet in the master suite made a wonderful impromptu nursery and the pack n play fit with room to spare. We'll be back. :)

March vacation at Living Waters

This is a wonderful quaint three bedroom, two bath cabin. It is delightfully relaxing to sit and listen to the creek run by. Off each downstairs bedroom there is a enclosed deck area which allows for alone time to just read a book or have morning coffee and then off from that is a large deck with the hot tub. We had a great time at this cabin, and summer time would be unbelievable! It snowed one day while we was there and the snow against the creek was stunning. Please note that this cabin is about 35 minutes from Gatlinburg and a little farther to Pigeon Forge! Not a problem at all if you bring a crock pot and do one pot meals so supper is ready when you get back to the cabin, or eat out if not on a budget. It was nice because we got driving directions to bypass the Gatlinburg/pigeon forge traffic which was a blessing after a long drive, thanks Debbie. There are other cabins around, but it is a very quiet area and lovely. Our only complaint was the Jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom did not get hot, but it was quickly checked on and a plumber was to come and fix this issue, otherwise this would be a five star! Walmart is only about 10 minutes into Newport, TN for any grocery needs. One other side note is that this cabin is not handicap accessible, it has wifi and the creek is only about ankle to at the deepest knee deep. Just a very nice off the beaten path cabin, thanks for a wonderful time at your beautiful cabin!
