Such a wonderful stay!!
My husband and I stayed at the Hemlock Hollow for a late anniversary. The location is perfect, not far from Gatlinburg but far enough away for quiet! We enjoyed nature walks and sightseeing on our trip as well as horseback riding. The map given to the property is very helpful and we had no questions. Our GPS was still on in our car and led us right to it as well. We arrived well after dark and Debbie was very helpful in reminding to bring a flashlight but they had left the lights on for us! The cabin is pretty secluded and is the only one on that particular road. The cabin is rustic and homey. The tv is not updated but we didn't mind, telephone and wifi are in the cabin. It is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is small but equipped; however we did not use it during our stay. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom were our primary living area. The mattress is older and was sleepable, but needs updating. We did not use the upstairs bedroom or bathroom, except to borrow towels. The washer and dryer work well and are a stackable unit in the downstairs bedroom. We absolutely loved the outdoor hot tub! We enjoyed our stay and would return.

good get away
The cabin was very nice and clean. It's back in the woods so don't expect to be on the strip. The hot tub was used daily, very relaxing.the tv inside was old and outdated and would be my only complaint. But then again you're going to get away not watch tv. The only reason I say it is because it was bowl season and I couldn't enjoy watching my auburn tigers play. Very good place overall.

The location was beautiful and the cabin was great. A few problems that we experienced were: there's a musty odor when we walk in. The light in the bottom bedroom doesn't work. The drain in the lavatory on the bottom bathroom drains very slow. The tub upstairs also drains very slow. We finally learned how to operate the TV Wednesday night!
